Product Description
Studies have found that RETINOL is a cell rejuvenator that produces healthier, plumper skin cells. As we age, skin cells start to become slightly misshapen and altered in appearance. The new skin cells stimulated by use of vitamin A start to more closely resemble the younger, healthier skin cells of our youth. Use of vitamin A has also been shown to stimulate new collagen production. The increased cell turnover caused by vitamin A has also been shown to be particularly helpful on acne patients. The skin exfoliation unclogs pores and helps fade acne scars.

appearance of:
Fine lines in 4 weeks
Wrinkles in 12 weeks
Mottled Pigmentation

The only reason this didn’t get 5 stars is because I haven’t used it long enough to see any anti-aging effects. That said, I bought it because the ingredients were natural and included everything Dr. Oz suggested for an anti-wrinkle cream. Not that I’m a huge Dr. Oz fan, but when that specific show aired I happened to be looking for something to replace a popular over-the-counter product that wasn’t working for me. So, I put the ingredients Dr. Oz mentioned into Google’s search engine and The Spa Basin’s Velvet Skin popped up with what I consider a very reasonable price tag attached. After visiting their website and reading more about the company’s products and beginnings, I thought I’d give it a try. Why the 4 stars without seeing any anti-aging results? I absolutely LOVE how the cream immediately makes your skin feel silky smooth and soft. And although the jar appears small (2.6 oz), it takes very little to go a long way so I find it provides more ‘bang for the buck’ than I originally thought. If I’m able to update this in the future, I’ll let you know if I think it works well as an anti-aging cream. Oh – I read somewhere that a user puts hers in the refrigerator, which helps the Retinol A last longer – great tip (can’t wait for the next heat wave).

I use this on my body alittle goes a long way. I gave it 4 stares because it smells like soap, but that smell does fade. With all the antioxidants in it, it is worth the smell. I do like what it does for my knees and elbows they look so much nicer since I started using this.

This stuff smells so fantastic and works so well!!! It makes my skin feel so nourished and luminous. The very first night I used it, I woke up with such a pretty look about my skin. I keep mine in the refrigerator to preserve the retinol and I will use this for as long as they make it. I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin and this does not irritate it. LOVELY!
