  • This made 1 of my kids and myself breakout in allergic reactions. There are better products out there that are all natural and don’t make you break out.

  • This has been the best insect repellent I’ve found for our two-year-old. Why I love it:

    - The citronella smell is pretty pleasant compared to regular insect repellent.

    - I don’t need to obsessively watch that my teething toddler doesn’t put his arm in his mouth after putting this on him.

    - We don’t need to wash off weird chemicals immediately when we come back inside (per the instructions on our old “regular” repellent).

    - It works!!! We’d used other insect repellent early in the season and my son was still averaging a couple bites a week. We’ve used Swy Flotter many times now and haven’t had a single bite on myself or my son! Yay!

  • I bought this product for my nephew. My sister says this is the only thing she would use on him, as it is hypoallergenic, and he can safely swallow it!! ;)

  • I use this product on my 11-month old and it works surprisingly well in our mosquito-infested yard. I admit I was a little skeptical about its effectiveness when I first purchased it, but if it works here, it works anywhere! If he’s not wearing it, he has clouds of mosquitos chasing him around. I’m not about to use anything containing DEET on him, so the fact that it uses natural herbal ingredients AND it actually works makes it a winner in my book. Smells great too!

Of course, it’s always prudent to test a new product for allergic reaction before using it. Common sense also dictates that you be careful around the eye area. My baby has rubbed some in his eye before, which did make his eye red but didn’t even make him cry, so I don’t think it was painfully irritating. I now spray some onto my own hands and then rub it around the edges of his face, and try to avoid getting too much on the backs of his hands to lessen the chance of him getting it in his eyes.
