It has just the right consistency- not too thick that you feel like you are spreading tar, and not too thin that you feel like you'll need to apply more lotion 30 minutes later or after hand washing. The best feature, however, is that within 30 seconds of application, this lotion takes on a cool, dry, non-greasy/non-oily feel... like a smooth, invisible liquid talc, if that makes any sense.
