I started using this about a week ago. Because the stuff is so spendy-esp. for cleanser that’s on your face for a minute at most, I purchased the small “to go” size. Love. I have combo/sensitive skin and live in a hot, dry climate. I was a little wary because lately it’s been super hot and my boyfriend doesn’t believe in a/c, so I’ve been more greasy-faced. But this smells delish (very cucumber-y. Which reminds me of being a little kid, because I had a pet turtle who ate only cucumbers, but that’s another story…) and feels so soothing going on. As others have said, it doesn’t lather up, and I know that’s just a wrong sensation for some people (including me sometimes). I haven’t been more oily or broken out, rather, my skin feels more balanced–and looks more balanced, because it seems to soothe the redness that I sometimes get in splotches from who-knows-what. I feel sort of precious and pampered using this, which hopefully will continue to make me wash my face before bed! I look forward to my moments with this cleanser–and the ‘to go’ size is going to last a lot longer than your average trial size. I’ll let you all know, though, that I don’t wear make-up, so I can’t tell you how it works on that (I would guess it does a good job) or how much more you might have to use.
Will splurge on full-sized next time.

A gentle cleanser that doubles as a makeup remover. When I am using heavier makeup, I would wash my face twice with this cleanser to make sure all traces of makeup is removed. Otherwise, it works fine with light foundation. Very ‘fresh’ scent.

I have sensitive, acne-prone skin. It does tend to be slightly oily, but I have found over the years that if I don’t use harsh stripping cleansers and I moisturize, my skin tends to be more on the normal side than oily. Enter Fresh Soy Cleanser. I got this as a free sample and fell in love! It removes makeup well and leaves my face feeling softer and smoother than before I washed — no tightness or dryness whatsoever. I use this in the evening, and I use a gentle scrub in the morning typically since I still need some manual exfoliation to prevent acne.

If you’re pressed for time and want 1 step instead of two, you should use this cleanser. It literally eliminates all of your makeup – including mascara. No more raccoon eyes.
It leaves your skin soft too – not tight and dry. It’s the only cleanser I buy. I hope they never discontinue it!

My skin is very sensitive and my face breaks out in little bumps if I use anything that leaves a residue. I’ve used Cetaphil soap for years but it doesn’t get all of my eye makeup off. I bought this on impulse and it’s the best face cleanser I’ve ever found. It doesn’t dry my skin at all, and removes every speck of makeup. I think the soy also evens out my skin tone.
