Used it a couple of times nearly 3 weeks ago and was fine to begin with but all of a sudden…….my lips were extremely sore, cracking, severly peeling strips of skin from my lips and swollen looking. They felt like someone had rubbed a scourer over my mouth.
This was nearly 3 weeks ago when I last used this lip gloss which is meant to be a lip enhancer and they still today are itchy round the outline, slightly cracking still and still swollen.
Does anyone think I should see a doctor about this because I feel they are still far from healed and have never had a reaction to anything before so am unsure.
Just wondering if anyone else had a similar reaction to this lip gloss.

Not that particular make, but i once had this lip smackers lip gloss and it was fine at first then i noticed my lips were goin red and rock hard and sore then it stopped when i stopped using it.
I guess it’s just the chemicals in the lipgloss are too much for you’re lips to take after a while.
P.s you have the same name as my mum lol.
My hubby got me this & i only used it once because i didn’t like the reaction.It made my lips sting and swell up, i just thought it was supposed to be like that but it felt awful, i definately won’t be using anything else like it again.
I have the same thing. I would go to the doctor or beautition.
Also did it burn when you put it on? Because it when I put it on. It brunt alot. I only put it on once.
You sensitise to something the 1st time you use it so its more than possible it caused this.
I would go see a nurse if it has been 3 weeks and still hasn’t healed.
